Seamlessly melding midwest emo, post-hardcore, and alt-country with a distinct Maritime authenticity, Postfun revels in delivering infectious live energy, a love for storytelling, and unconventional takes on indie rock conventions.

Their new EP, Hunting Music, captures the restless emotional landscape of young adulthood – the push and pull between staying comfortable and chasing something bigger. Across four songs, the Halifax indie-rock band explores themes of overthinking, stagnation, risk, and the quiet hope that something better might be waiting just beyond the familiar.

Blending elements of indie rock, midwest emo, and folk-influenced storytelling, the project highlights Postfun’s ability to pair raw emotional honesty with vivid local imagery. The result is a collection of songs that feel deeply personal while speaking to the universal experience of trying to find your place in the world.
