Her first showcase takes place\u00a0Tuesday, March 18\u00a0at the Lion d\u2019Or.<br \/><br \/>On the heels of this news, Maude Sonier also announces her arrival at Acadian Embassy \u2013 the Nova Scotian-based music company \u2013 who welcomes her to their management roster.<br \/><br \/>All of these exciting developments come nearly a year after the release of Maude\u2019s debut EP,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/maudesonier.bandcamp.com\/\"><strong><em>Demi-tour<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. The album, produced by\u00a0<strong>Katrine No\u00ebl<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>Les Hay Babies<\/strong>) and\u00a0<strong>Mico Roy<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>Les H\u00f4tesses d\u2019Hilaire<\/strong>), highlights her warm voice, authentic presence, and unparalleled charisma all in an alternative-pop universe.<br \/><br \/>Ahead of her participation at Les Francouvertes, Maude Sonier launches a live video for her song \u00ab\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/zxnnRvT5RtY?si=hkA9qrY4V2DIkYKD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La neige.\u00a0\u00bb<\/a><\/strong><\/p><p>This performance of the first track from\u00a0<em>Demi-tour<\/em>\u00a0was recorded during her album launch at the Aberdeen Cultural Centre in Moncton, NB in \u200b\u200bOctober 2024.
